Our Story

Tornowize (PTY) Ltd is a 100% black owned and managed, BBBEE level 1 business servicing the mining, construction, and other industrial industries. The company was established early in 2014 to provide clients with high quality goods, products and services. The company’s owner, Mr Sonwabo “Sonny" Debedu is a hands on mining professional who continue to build on the technical and managerial expertise by being heavily involved in executing clients’ requirements.

Sonny has extensive experience in the mining industry spanning the coal, manganese, iron ore and chrome commodities. He has held senior mine management positions that include a legal appointment in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act (Act 29 of 1996 Section 31 and 72) as well as related regulations.
Tornowize has an impressive leadership skills base with professionals in the mining and construction engineering spheres. The company therefore is fully resourced to deliver quality services to clients at all times.
